Ingredients of Makhana Pudding
- Makhana 1 Kg
- Ghee 400 grams
- Sugar 200 grams
- Water half a liter
- Almond 50 grams
- Pistachio 25 grams
Mode of making Makhana Halwa
- Step 1To make this recipe, first soak the Makhane in cold water for about 12 hours. Then remove it from the water and prepare a paste.
- Step 2Now heat the ghee on low heat in a kadhai and add the paste of makhane into it and cook on low heat till the color of the paste turns light pink. If there is too much ghee in it, take it out.
- Step 3Now boil half a liter of water in a pan and add sugar to it and prepare the sugar syrup. Then put the sugar syrup in a paste of the makhane.
- Step 4Now cook the halwa till it becomes thick. Makhana halwa is ready. Serve hot by garnishing it with almonds and pistachios.
